Directions: Molera Horseback Tours is located in Andrew Molera State Park 22 miles south of Carmel on Hwy 1.

Description: Scenic coastal horseback tours in historical Andrew Molera State Park, Big Sur, California. The 4,800 acre coastal paradise possesses flower-studded meadows, enduring Redwood groves, translucent streams and secluded beaches. The surpassing beauty of Big Sur and the dramatic meeting of land and sea entrances those who view it. Certified guides will enlighten you with intriguing stories about Big Sur. Discover native plants that can be utilized in your everyday needs and observe indigenous animals in their natural habitat. All rides go on the beach! Holman Ranch
Location: Carmel Valley
Directions: From Carmel, head East on Carmel Valley Road. Continue deep into the valley past Laureles Grade to Holman Road. Turn left.
Hours: 10p - 2pm daily
Description: There are a number of scenic trail rides that are available throughout The Holman Ranch's 400 acres. THE HOPALONG CASSIDY A one-hour ride through oak-studded hills with panoramic views of the Carmel Valley countryside. Suitable for beginning to experienced riders. Ages 10 and up. THE GENE AUTRY A leisurely two-hour ride along secluded trails to a spectacular ridge line overlooking both Carmel Valley and Salinas Valley. Suitable for intermediate to experienced riders. Ages 14 and up. THE LONE RANGER This VIP ride is custom designed for experienced and expert riders who have a sense of adventure. THE LITTLE BUCKAROO Gentle guided pony rides for children in The Holman Ranch Lakeside Area. Ages 5 - 10. All trail rides and equestrian activities are made by adavance reservation only. Riders must be 18 years or older or be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Rates go from $30 - $100 per rider depending on length or type of ride.
Pebble Beach Equestrian Center
Location: Portola Road and Alva Lane, Pebble Beach
Directions: Take the Hwy 68/Pebble Beach exit off of Hwy 1. Continue straight ahead through the light and veer to the right to the gateway to Pebble Beach. At the guard gate, they will provide you with a map and directions.
Hours: Seven Days A Week at 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm.- call for reservations.
Description: Explore the beauty of the Monterey Peninsula with the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center. Ride to some of the most breathtaking spots on earth. See the rugged Pacific Coastline and world-famous fairways, including Cypress Point and Spy Glass. Climb natural dunes and encounter deer, see whales, sea lions and sea otters down by the beach along famous 17 Mile Drive. This is a great ride for everyone over the age of twelve. Rides cost $55 per rider and last approximately from 50 minutes for a Forest ride to 1 hour and 20 mintues for a beach ride at $65-$110 per rider (depending what type of ride you would like). (The Forest ride is okay for kids over the age of 7-- Ride through the Del Monte forest and up sand dunes overlooking the the Pacific Ocean. This wonderful trail will show you a special dune environment where you and your children will see a variety of wildflowers, hidden fox dens, soaring red tail hawks and deer among the shadows in the trees. For beach rides you must be 12 years or older).
