This web site was developed by the founders of one of the largest hospitality businesses in Monterey County. As long time residents of the Peninsula and ambassadors of the area, we wanted to provide you the visitor with the inside scoop on the best places to visit and things to do. All of the activities on this list are things that either we have done first hand or one of our network of associates has done in the past. As you will see from the site, Monterey is far from boring -- there is enough to keep you interested for a long, long time!

This site is not driven by advertising so you will not see us "plugging" a place we don't feel comfortable in recommending. The Monterey Peninsula is a small area but there are a lot of fantastic places to visit and activities to enjoy. It is best to plan now so that no time is wasted later. Our worst experiences with traveling to a new city is sitting in our hotel room trying to find out the best way to spend what little time we have -- and end up wasting that valuable time (or finding out after you return from your destination that you missed several great things to do you would have enjoyed).
